The Tommy Thomas Boxing Club was founded in 1998 by and is operated by former WV State

Heavyweight Boxing champion Tommy Thomas, of Clarksburg. Thomas is a retired Clarksburg City

police officer, who served as the DARE officer for over 15 years. The Tommy Thomas Boxing Club,

Inc. is a 501-3C non profit community service organization that is located at 435 Duff Ave in

Clarksburg. The Boxing Club is located inside the Clarksburg Recreation Center, formerly known as

the Morgan Grade School.

The program provides “FREE” boxing classes and training for boys and girls age 12 and older.
